A homeowner in Hayfield, MN, knew it was time to repair their water-damaged basement walls. To complete the project correctly, the homeowner knew they needed a professional to provide them with a solution. The homeowner looked into "interior french drain contractors," and one of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks. After reading about our previous projects, the homeowner knew that we were the ideal company for their project. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Dustin. When the appointment date arrived, Dustin promptly arrived at the home and began the thorough investigation of the basement. During his inspection, Dustin discovered that the north wall was leaking the most water. To prevent this issue from worsening, Dustin recommended installing several waterproofing products along the struggling wall. Knowing this was their best action plan, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Dustin's recommendations. Next, Dustin passed the proposal to our Logistics team to give the final stamp of approval. Our Logistics team built and scheduled the project, and then it was assigned to our Foreman, Kiko. A few weeks later, Kiko traveled to the home to begin the project. First, Kiko and his crew started by installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was secured, Kiko and his crew installed the TripleSafe, one of our elite sump pump systems. Finally, Kiko and his crew completed the project by installing CleanSpace on the unfinished basement walls. Once all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the eye-catching before and after made by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to provide its homeowners with peace of mind. 

Water was leaking into the Pine River Methodist Church causing water moisture, flooding hazards, and a funky smell. They called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson. Chad went to the church, inspected the problems, and came up with a solution that worked for management and their budget. Management was confident in Chad's proposal and presentation, so they signed the contract, wrote out a deposit check, and got the installation project on the schedule. 

Our Foreman, Ryan Loe, and his production team began the repairs by taking back the carpet, and breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, which is made to prevent water and mud clogs, collect water seepage from basement walls, and serve as an underground drain. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier System around the half-wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent mold and humidity, act as an extra wall protectant, and guide water into the WaterGuard System. Lastly, Ryan and his crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System in the corner. Our TripleSafe is the best sump pump we provide for homeowners, it solves all three water problems in one system, and it provides three layers of protection. To complete the installation, our crew covered and filled the open gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it. Clint M. of Taopi, MN had severe water leakage in his basement and decided to call American Waterworks after seeing our company vehicles around town. Our Design Specialist, Shane Nephew, went to his home for a FREE Estimate. After an in-depth inspection, Clint was comfortable with Shane's proposal so he set up an installation date. 

Our Foreman, Rene Hernandez, and his production crew began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter of Clint's basement forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which serves as an underground drain. Next, our team installed our Basement to Beautiful Wall Panels around the wall perimeter, which serves as a thick, clean, and protective blanket for basement walls. A customer from Farmington, MN got in contact with us when they began to notice that their downstairs block window well was beginning to show signs of failing. They fear that if they left the issue alone, they would run the risk of severely compromising the structural integrity of the retaining wall, which would cause the basement to be inescapable in case of emergency. When they called in, we set them up with our FREE estimate, entitling them to a free, no-obligation estimate by one of our Design Specialists. Once the appointment was set, one of our Design Specialists, Josh, headed out to the property to assess the damage. Once he completed his walkthrough, he was able to make his recommendations. He told the homeowner that her best bet would be to let our crews install a RockWell window well. Josh explained that this well offers an attractive alternative to ugly window wells while providing safe, code-compliant basement egress. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after. 

Our Foreman, Gabriel, and his crew began the process by excavating around the already in-place window. Next, they installed the RockWell and secured it in place. Finally, they added a cover to keep leaves and debris out while allowing natural sunlight into the space. Once the job was done our customer was thrilled to know they could go back to using their basement without worries of it not being up to code! 

Nancy K. in Riceville, IA was fed up with the water seeping into her basement. It was making the space damp and musty, and she was concerned about the health implications. She contacted us for a FREE estimate after seeing one of our commercials on TV. We sent our Design Specialist, Rick Weber, to meet with Nancy, evaluate the situation, and propose a customized solution for her home. She approved of the plan and moved forward with the installation. 

Our Foreman, Kiko Pena, and his production crew got to work and began the waterproofing project by first removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement to make a trench for our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump, spray foam insulation in the rim joists, and Foamax insulated panels on the walls. They completed the project with the installation of our SaniDry XP dehumidifier to take care of any humidity. The combination of these waterproofing products ensure Nancy’s basement will stay healthy, clean, and dry!
