Lindsay and Ryan L. of Adrian, MN had water leaking from her foundation walls into her basement, making her feel nervous about the value of her home. She needed repairs as soon as possible so we sent out our Design Specialist, Jared Bruns. Jared inspected her problems and came up with a solution. Lindsey and Ryan got all of their questions answered, so they scheduled an installation date. 

Our Foreman, Arturo Mares, and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed 148 feet of our WaterGuard System, which is made to collect water seepage from basement walls and act like an underground drain. Next, Arturo and his team applied 50 feet of our CleanSpace Wall System, which prevents humidity and mold build-up, provides the room with a neat and clean look, and guides the water into the WaterGuard. To complete the project, Arturo and his team covered the open gaps with rock and applied new concrete. Lindsay and Ryan were happy with the results and enjoyed watching the project from start to finish! 

Ray G. of Cottonwood, MN had water leaking throughout his crawl space causing mold build-up and moisture problems. After doing some research on the American Waterworks website, Ray set up a FREE Estimate for our Design Specialist, Jeremy Radtke, to come to his home and inspect the problem. After a thorough inspection, Ray was comfortable with Jeremy's design, so he went ahead with the project. 

Our Foreman, Nate Wroblewski, and his production crew installed 510 feet of our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, which is made to prevent mold and humidity, and covers all voids and dents. It also provides the space with a clean and neat appearance. Ray had a great experience from start to finish!

Missy T. of Cushing, MN had water seeping into her crawl space, causing her to worry about pests, water moisture and humidity, and the overall value of her home. She called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Eric Hazelton. Eric went to her home, carefully inspected her crawl space, and drew up a detailed solution that would fit her home repair needs and budget. Missy was excited about the proposal and was confident in our products, so she signed the contract, filled out a deposit check, and got an installation date on the schedule. 

Our Co-Foreman, Aaron Engen, and his crew began the project by installing our CleanSpace Moisture Vapor Barrier. Our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier is a heavy-duty protectant that is used in the encapsulation process to transform the crawl space into a dry, clean, and energy-efficient part of the home. Next, our team installed our SmartDrain Drain System, which is a crawl space drain that includes a bottomless liner and an airtight lid. If a plumbing failure occurs, our SmartDrain will drain the water beneath the vapor barrier, preventing it from collecting in the crawl space. Lastly, our team applied spray foam around the floor cracks, which provides a dry and warm crawl space, while also reducing energy costs. Mark and Sharron of Miltona, MN, were noticing musty, damp smells coming from their dirt crawlspace. They knew the importance of encapsulating their crawlspace to protect against odors, rodents, insects, and more, especially since they planned to keep their lake home for a long time. After doing some research, they decided to call American Waterworks and were set up with a FREE inspection. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Ian, headed out to the property. Once he completed his walkthrough, he made recommendations as to how American Waterworks could help. Our customers agreed with the recommendations, and work began shortly after. 

Our Foreman, Ryan, and his crew began by installing our drainage matting; a dimpled matting that gets installed onto the floor of the crawl space, giving any excess water a route to flow through the space and be disposed of at an external site such as a drain or a sump system. The second installation was our CleanSpace vapor barrier, a 100% waterproof tarp that works to trap any excess moisture in the space, redirecting it to the appropriate disposal site. 

Finally, our team added an Aprilaire dehumidifier, which creates healthy air and can reduce the number of viable viruses in the air to less than 1% in two days' time when set to 50% relative humidity. This and our crawl space liner will create a drier, healthier crawl space. Our crawl space liner is made with seven layers of tough, durable material that's designed to withstand traffic from the homeowner and workers -- with a 25-year written, transferable warranty!
