Standing Water Concerns in Spring Valley, MN

Following a heavy rainstorm, a homeowner in Spring Valley, MN, made a startling discovery: standing water in their basement. Anxious that this could lead to serious issues, the homeowner knew they needed to find an expert to provide them with a solution. The homeowner looked into "flooded basement repair," and one of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks. The homeowner signed up for their FREE estimate, and then we sent one of our Design Specialists, Nate. A few weeks later, Nate promptly arrived at the home and completed the thorough inspection of the basement. During the inspection, Nate found several areas where the water was sneaking around the basement perimeter. To prevent this issue from worsening, Nate recommended installing several waterproofing products. The homeowner agreed, then the plans were sent to our Foreman, Jesus, and his crew. On the installation date, Jesus and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Jesus and his crew started by installing WaterGuard throughout the basement. Then, the crew took out the old sump pump and replaced it with the TripleSafe sump pump. Once all the products were installed, the crew cleaned their materials and left the home. American Waterworks is happy to provide its homeowners peace of mind knowing their basement is secure.

Waterproofing System Installed in Oelwein, IA

Kris R. in Oelwein, IA was suffering from a wet basement. She had been dealing with this challenge for a couple of years and was ready to find a long-term solution. She contacted American Waterworks, so we sent one of our Design Specialists, Mac Cole, to her home to inspect the basement and develop a solution. She was impressed with our products and agreed with the proposal, so she set a date to have our waterproofing system installed.

Our production team installed the WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement floor and connected it to the TripleSafe sump pump that we installed. After the drainage system and sump pump were installed, we replaced the concrete and cleaned the work area. The installation took two days to complete, but now her peace of mind has been restored and she is confident that her basement will remain dry.

Basement Waterproofed in Crosby, MN

A homeowner in Crosby, MN had water leaking into their basement, causing them to worry about mold build-up, water moisture, and a flooded basement. They did research on our website and came across our basement waterproofing products. The homeowner called our office to schedule a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson. Chad went to their home to examine the water issues and come up with a solution that fits their needs. The homeowner was confident in Chad's TripleSafe Sump Pump System proposal and design, so they scheduled an installation date and signed the contract.

Our Foreman, Brian Colliton, and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor in the corner of the basement, forming a hole. In the hole, our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump. Our TripleSafe provides three layers of protection, comes with a battery back-up, and solves all three water problems in one system. Our crew connected the discharge line, ran it through the ceiling, and out of the home. To complete the project, our crew applied new concrete around the sump pump and left the basement cleaner than when they found it. The homeowner had a remarkable experience from start to finish!

Leaky Basement Gets Waterproofed in Crosby, MN

Tom from Crosby, ND had begun to notice a large amount of water finding its way into the basement of his lakeside home. He was tired of constant water intrusion and was afraid that, if left untreated, he would run the risk of doing more costly damage to the space. He did some research and found our company and gave us a call. When he called in, we set him up with our FREE estimate. A few weeks later our Design Specialist, Kole, headed out to the property to see what could be done to fix the issue. Once he completed his walkthrough, he recommended that Tom have our WaterGuard drainage system and TripleSafe Sump Pump installed to correct the issue. He explained to Tom that the WaterGuard is installed below the floor to catch any water entering the space, and then deposits it to the TripleSafe, keeping the space dry because of the capacity the TripleSump is able to withstand. Tom agreed with Kole's recommendations and work began shortly after.

Our Foreman, Kevin, ended up installing 128 ft of our WaterGuard, and 1 of our TripleSafe sump pumps. Once the job was completed, Tom was happy to know his basement water issues were in the past.
