In about a week, one of our Design Specialists arrived at the home to provide a thorough inspection of the home, answer any questions, and provide the best solution for the homeowner. He informed the homeowner that their current sump pump was not working properly, as it could not remove excess water efficiently. After inspecting the home, our Design Specialist recommended WaterGuard, our below-the-floor perimeter drain system that intercepts water and sends it away safely, CleanSpace, our vapor wall barrier that collects water leaks and sends it to the drain system, Foamax, our advanced polyisocyanurate foam insulation panel to control humidity, our TripleSafe, our top-of-the-line sump pump system that comes with 3 levels of protection, and IceGuard, our anti-freeze discharge line that allows water to leave in case the sump pump line freezes. After reviewing the proposal, the homeowner happily agreed and scheduled the installation date.

In a couple of months, our Foreman, Kiko, and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. They installed 125ft of WaterGuard, 110ft of Foamax, 15ft of CleanSpace, 2 IceGuard, and 1 TripleSafe sump pump. After everything was properly installed, the crew cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Leaky Fireplace Gets Fixed in Roseville, MN

A homeowner in Roseville, MN was enjoying a nice night by the fireplace when he noticed a damp patch in front of the fireplace. Upon further investigation, he found that water was entering his basement through the base of the brick fireplace. He wanted to get a full diagnosis of the problem so he called our office and claimed his FREE, no-obligation estimate. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Jessie, was scheduled to go out to the home to see what could be done. After Jesse's inspection, he told the homeowner that the basement was only susceptible to water in front of the fireplace. He proposed using our WaterGuard to correct the issue. He explained that our WaterGuard french drainage system is an award-winning, patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. He went on to say that this system is popular because of its resistance to clogs, easy-to-access ports, and ability to collect water leaking from basement walls. The homeowner agreed and work began shortly after.

Our Foreman, Chris, and his team made quick work of the installation. He Connected the WaterGuard to an already installed sump pump and then covered the system up with a layer of fresh cement to keep it in place. Now our customer can enjoy their basement oasis without fear of water raining on their parade!

Drafty Crawl Space Gets a Fix in Saint Paul, MN

A homeowner from Saint Paul, MN, had noticed that a section of the floor on the main level of his home was much colder than other areas of the floor. It occurred to the homeowner that the issue might be his crawl space beneath the home. He began to look for a crawl space repair company in MN and quickly found us. He was impressed with our previous work and scheduled his FREE estimate. Several weeks later, our Design Specialist was headed out to the home. When he arrived, he wasted no time getting down into the crawl space. When he finished, he was ready to make his recommendation. First, our Design Specialist recommended our CleanSpace, a 100% waterproof tarp-like material that gets installed directly to the walls of the crawl space. It works to collect the water entering through holes and cracks in the wall, keeping it off the crawl space floor. To compliment this product, our Design Specialist recommended our drainage matting, a dimpled matting that gets laid down on the floor of the space before the CleanSpace, giving the draining water a channel to flow freely to a disposal site. He then went on to recommend our TerraBlock and Foamax wall panel combo. TerraBlock™ crawl space insulation was developed to meet the challenge of insulating rough, uneven crawl space floors. The ¾-in.-thick sheet material is covered on both sides with a durable moisture barrier that makes the insulation resistant to puncture and abrasion damage. Foamax is a polyisocyanurate foam insulation panel with a white foil finish on the front and a foil vapor barrier on the back. It offers high-performance features such as high insulation value, a brighter, warmer basement, and can be left exposed, meaning no need to cover the panels. The homeowner was thrilled with the plan and signed on the spot.

Several weeks later, our Foreman, Kiko P, and his team successfully installed 260 sqft of CleanSpace, 198 sqft of Drainage Matting, 198 sqft of TerraBlock, and 116 sqft of Foamax. Now, our customer can enjoy a nice warm floor and energy-efficient house!
