Our Design Specialist went to the homeowner's home, inspected the interior and exterior of the home, and proposed a bid for our radon mitigation system. The homeowner was confident in the solution, so she went ahead with the project.

Our Foreman and his crew member started the installation from the utility room in the basement, through the home, and out to the backside of the house, where they installed the system. The purpose of this system is to suck radon from underneath the home and release it into the open air. The system is the heart of the process. If it is not working, radon will not be able to escape the home.

A customer from Rushmore, MN, contacted us when they suspected they might have a Radon gas present in their home. Our crew went out to the property and the Design Specialist, Kevin, recommended that the customer invests in a Radon mitigation system because of the high levels of Radon he found to be prevalent in the home. Our Foreman, Dakota, worked to install the system and will follow up with the customer if further issues present themselves. Our Radon mitigation systems work to suck the Radon out of the area, pipe it upwards, and expel the gas out and away from the home. 

Randy N., a resident of Willmar, MN, got his radon levels tested and the result came out to be 6.8 pCi/L. Our Design Specialist, Kevin, set him up with an installation date and walked him through a plan of our Radon Mitigation System. These systems are made to pull radon from within the home and release it outside through pipes. 

Our crew of Dakota and Geno began the installation by drilling a hole into the basement concrete floor, creating a suction point. From there, our crew installed a PVC pipe from the whole, which created a vent for the radon gas. They connected the pipe to the radon fan outside of the home (which is the Mitigation System itself). The fan is the heart of the system. If it fails, the radon will remain in the home. From the fan, our team connected more PVC piping along the siding of the home until it reached open air above the roof. To complete the installation, Geno and Dakota performed a final walkthrough with Randy and ensured all of his questions were answered.

Andrew W. of Raymond, MN got his home tested for radon and his radon levels came back between 11 and 16 pCi/L. At that point, they installed our Radon Mitigation System, which is the heart of the system. If the system isn't working, then radon is not being pulled from within the home. Each system is different depending on the structure of the home, which is something that the Design Specialist will discuss with the homeowner.
