A Stillwater, MN, homeowner was in the process of prepping his fixer-upper home for sale. When Romeo inspected the home, he found several areas of water intrusion, and knew the right product combo to keep unwanted water from the basement. First, Romeo recommended our CleanSpace vapor barrier; a 100% waterproof plastic vapor barrier that is durable, washable, and has anti-microbial protection built in. He went on to recommend our WaterGuard perimeter drain, our award-winning below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. Romeo went on to say that the CleanSpace, which would get applied directly to basement walls, would feed directly into the WaterGuard, giving any water entering the space through walls or floor joints a channel to flow freely to the proper disposal site. During Romeo's inspection, he noted the basement lacked a means of disposal, so he recommended our SuperSump sump system.
