We got a call from a concerned homeowner in Shakopee, MN, who was experiencing a bowing wall in her brick garage. Our Design Specialist, Chad, went out to the property to do a full inspection and ended up recommending our PowerBrace system to fix the issue. This particular system is an adjustable steel beam that stabilizes bowing walls and forces bowing or tilted wall sections back into their original position. Our Foreman, Kiko, and his team went out to the property and installed several beams along the South wall of the garage. Now we have a relieved homeowner who no longer has to worry about a faulty foundation! 

A customer from Eden Prairie, MN got into contact with them since they have noticed foundation issues that result in horizontal cracks alongside their basement walls. Our customer feared if they left the problem unsolved it would result in it more damage to the basement wall and potentially cause the wall to fail and cave in. When they contacted us we then proceeded to offer them our FREE estimate, entitling them to a thorough inspection by one member of our Design Specialist team. Once the appointment was set, our Design Specialist, Ryan, headed out to inspect the issue. After completing a complete walkthrough, Ryan then was able to form a professional opinion on how to correct the issue. He then thoroughly explained to our customer that the best way to solve the issue of the cracks in the basement wall and foundation issue is by installing our GeoLock Channel Anchor System. Ryan explained the GeoLock Anchor System would be the ideal system for this problem and will help prevent any further bowing of the wall. He went on and showed the customer that once the anchors are installed and ready to go they have the option to be tightened to straighten the wall over time. Once our customer gave us the okay to proceed with the installation, our production crew, Led by our Foreman, Tremaine then installed 5 GeoLock Anchors to help support the basement wall. Once complete, the customer was happy and stress-free knowing that their wall will now be supported and the problem is in the past. 

Homeowners in Eden Prairie, MN had a cracked foundation wall in their basement, making them feel nervous living in their own home. They found our phone number online and called our office to set up a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson. Chad went to their home, inspected the wall, and came up with a solution. The homeowners were confident in Chad's proposal, so they scheduled an installation date. 

Our Foreman, Jose Castillo, and his production crew began the project by digging eight holes outside of the home and installing a long, metal rod from the inside foundation to the outside hole. Next, our crew screwed on and tightened a GeoLock Wall Anchor to the ends of each rod, enabling the anchors to pull the foundation wall back into its normal position. Our GeoLock Wall Anchors prevent further cracking, stabilize walls, and can be tightened overtime if needed. To complete the installation, Jose and his team backfilled each hole and replaced the soil. The homeowners were amazed at how quickly the work was finished and feels much safer living in their homes! 

Dean D. in Good Thunder, MN contacted us when he noticed that he had two severely bowing walls in his finished basement. We sent a Design Specialist to his home to inspect his walls, develop the right solution for his situation and provide him with a FREE estimate. We recommended installing wall anchors because they would permanently stabilize and start to straighten his walls and it would be far more cost-effective than replacing the foundation. In order to get to the block foundation, we had to remove the drywall. We excavated the soil around the sides of the home with the bowing walls. This helps up straighten the walls back to their original position. Then we drilled small holes through the block foundation walls into the soil. We inserted long metal rods, and once the rods were in place, we secured each end with anchor plates. We tightened the anchors as far as they could go, and the wall started to straighten. Dean's basement walls have been permanently stabilized with the installation of the wall anchors. He is glad he chose to protect the foundation of his home.

A homeowner in Albany, MN, discovered a large horizontal crack along the west wall. Knowing that it was not a good sign, the homeowner looked for a second opinion. After hearing many positive reviews, the homeowner decided to work with American Waterworks. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Our Foreman, Tremaine, and his crew traveled to the home and began repairs. First, the crew installed six Geo-Locks about five and a half feet apart. Once the Geo-Locks were put into place, the homeowners asked if a tightening kit was included. The crew showed the homeowners how to use the tightening kit and emphasized it would take some time. Once the crew finished, they cleaned the site and left the home. The homeowners were delighted that their wall was properly stabilized and would straighten with time.
