Our Foreman, Dylon Mish, and his crew member injected our PolyLevel underneath the concrete to raise and stabilize the surface. This unique foam insulation is designed to fill the voids underneath the concrete that are caused by soil erosion. Next, our team applied our NexusPro over the cracks to seal them and give the concrete a clean, neat finished look. A homeowner in Dassel, MN was tired of dealing with the bump from her sunken concrete at the top of the driveway. She knew she wanted to find a solution that would both get rid of the bump and be inexpensive. Going online to see what services were in the Minnesota area, she came across the American Waterworks company website. One of our expert Design Specialists, Kevin Beseman, arrived at the home to inspect the concrete and prepare his recommendations for how to fix the problem. A homeowner in Fairfax, MN, did not like the look of their cracked and uneven concrete. Wanting to get a headstart of the project, the homeowner began looking for the best options for their situation. After coming up empty, the homeowner was looking through their social media when they came across one of our PolyLevel installations. Interested in our PolyLevel services, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. After the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of Kevin, one of our Design Specialists. Once Kevin arrived, he began evaluating the concrete to find the cause of the issue. Kevin discovered that the concrete was sinking due to soil settlement. To stop the concrete from sinking further, Kevin recommended that the concrete be lifted using the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. Wanting to avoid replacing the entire slab, the homeowner agreed and production commenced. Our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew were assigned to complete the project. The crew began by inserting the PolyLevel underneath the driveway and the sidewalk. After the PolyLevel installation was completed, the crew took out the old joints and replaced them with the NexusPro Joint Sealant. The NexusPro Joint Sealant is a silicone-based sealant that is specially formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and stand up to harsh weather. Once all the joints were replaced, the crew went ahead and cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowners were pleased with the great work completed by the crew. PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when injected beneath concrete slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the concrete back into place. He went on to say that we finished our installations with the application of our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro gets applied to the joints and cracks in the concrete, preventing any unwanted debris or moisture from getting below the slab. The homeowner agreed to the proposed work, and the job was scheduled for a few weeks later.
