A homeowner in Brainerd, MN, was cleaning their basement when they discovered their walls were beginning to bend inward. The crew installed five GeoLock anchors on the south wall and six GeoLock anchors on the east wall. The crew successfully installed all the GeoLock anchors in the home and cleaned up the job site. Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and his production team began the installation by digging five holes outside of the home beyond the foundation. Next, our team inserted a long, metal rod from the inside foundation to each hole outside of the home. On the ends of each rod, our team tightened and secured a GeoLock Wall Anchor. This wall anchor system will permanently stabilize foundation walls by anchoring the walls to the hard-packed, compact soil. After installation, wall anchors can be tightened over time to further straighten the foundation wall. To complete the project, our team backfilled the holes and replaced the soil, leaving the yard looking neater than when they found it. Josh was very happy with the final product!
