A male resident of Dawson, MN had a cracked and inward bowing foundation wall. He came across our booth at the IDEAg Farm Fest home show, where he spoke to our Design Specialist. Our Design Specialist went to the resident's house, carefully inspected their cracked foundation wall, and proposed our CarbonAmor Reinforcing Strips, which is a foundation repair system that strengthens and stabilizes cracked or bowed foundation walls. 

Our Foreman and his crew installed seven of our CarbonArmor Strips. This system utilizes epoxy and carbon fiber strips and is ten times stronger than steel. The male resident was very happy with the work that was done and had a wonderful experience from start to finish!

Our Design Specialist, Shane, went to his home, carefully inspected his bowed wall, and determined the solution of our PowerBrace Wall Repair System. Scott got all of his questions answered about our system, so he followed through with the project. 

Our Foreman, Jose, and his team installed ten of our PowerBraces against the bowed wall to stabilize and provide the potential to straighten it. Our PowerBraces can be tightened over time by the homeowner to ensure stability and that it is sticking to its design. The foundation wall anchors extend out to the compacted soil beyond the foundation, anchoring themselves there and bracing the foundation wall, which stops inward movement and brings the foundation wall back to its normal position. Adam in Hendricks, MN was concerned about the cracked and bowing walls in his basement. He contacted American Waterworks to learn more about our foundation repair solutions. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Jeremy Radkte, to his home to inspect his basement, develop a solution and provide him with a FREE estimate! Jeremy put together a thorough plan to permanently repair Adam’s foundation using wall anchors.

Our production crew started installing the wall anchors by drilling small holes through his foundation walls and inserting long metal rods. They also dug small holes in the soil surrounding the home that lined up with the holes drilled in the walls. Then, they secured both ends of the rods with anchor plates and tightened them. The installation only took a couple of days to complete, and now Adam’s foundation is permanently stabilized.
