Jerry T. in Granite Falls, MN noticed that one of his garage foundation walls had a large exterior crack and it was bowing outward. He was concerned that the damaged wall was putting too much pressure on his foundation and did not want to get stuck in a situation where he had to replace the entire foundation. He contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate, so we had one of our Design Specialists, Jeremy Radtke, go to his home to develop the right solution unique to Jerry’s home. Jerry was pleased to hear that we could permanently secure his foundation by installing wall anchors, so he scheduled to have our foundation repair system installed.

Our production team started the installation process by drilling long metal rods into the soil underneath the garage floor and through the block foundation wall. They removed small rectangles of concrete from the garage floor where they would secure the other end of the rods. They screwed anchor plates on to the rods and tightened them as far as they would go. Lastly, they replaced the concrete in the garage and cleaned up. The process was quick and efficient. Jerry was very pleased with the results and is glad he chose to protect his foundation by having it permanently repaired.

A homeowner from Sauk Centre, MN, was growing more worried about his basement as the days passed. He had noticed that the floor above his basement was beginning to sag. He assumed this was a structural concern with the basement, and decided to find a foundation repair company in the area to consult with. When he found our website, he was impressed with other foundation repair jobs we had completed and decided to claim his FREE estimate. 

Several weeks later, Darin S, one of our Design Specialists, was headed out to the home. 

When Darin arrived, he was directed to the basement to begin his inspection. When he concluded, he met with the homeowner to discuss his recommendations. Darin explained that the sagging floor could be due to inadequate or shifting supports beneath the floor joists or lumber deterioration due to mold and rot, but that he had a solution. Darin recommended our SmartJack support system, a system that provides solid support for sagging and undersized beams, restoring stability and straightness to sagging floor joists. Once installed, SmartJack support posts can correct problems such as sloping and overly springy floors, interior wall cracks, and out-of-level door frames. The system can also be adjusted over time to provide additional straightening and leveling action if necessary. The homeowner liked Darin's approach to the problem and signed up for the project on the spot.

Steve and Jane R. of Hanley Falls, MN had several cracked foundation walls in their basement, causing them to worry about the stability of their home. They found us in the phone book and called to schedule a FREE Estimate. Our Design Specialist, Jeremy Girgen, went to their house to inspect the walls and come up with a solution. Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production crew dug seven holes in the backyard and installed a long rod in each hole from the outside soil to the inside foundation wall. Our team installed our GeoLock Wall Anchors on each rod, made to stabilize and straighten the walls into their natural position. Juan and his team backfilled the holes and replaced the soil. Steve and Jane were thrilled with the outcome and their peace of mind was restored!
