Crawl Space Repair in Jamestown, ND

Kelly S. of Jamestown, ND wanted her crawl space encapsulated and her sagging floors lifted. She knew of our Design Specialist, Ian, so she had him come out to her house for a FREE estimate and inspection. While Ian was there, he looked around and diagnosed the problems in the crawl space, and drew up a detailed solution. Kelly was confident in Ian's proposal, so she signed the contract, put down a deposit, and went ahead with the project.

Our Foreman, Ryan, and his crew started the project by installing our Crawl Space Support Posts, which lift and stabilize the sagging floors and floor joists. This system can hold up to loads of 60,000 pounds and is corrosion-resistant. It is also compatible with our crawl space encapsulation system, which in this case, Kelly did want hers encapsulated as well. Next, our crew installed our encapsulation vapor barrier around the entire crawl space, which is made to prevent mold, humidity, and pests, provide extra storage space, and save money on energy bills. Kelly was happy with the work and her peace of mind was restored!

Leaky Basement Gets Fixed in Ashley, ND

A homeowner from Ashley, ND got in contact with us when they began to notice standing water present in their basement. Wanting to get control of the situation before it could worsen, they decided to reach out to American Waterworks to see what could be done about the situation. Our Design Specialist, Kole, headed to the property to assess the situation. Once he completed his walkthrough, he recommended the use of several products to correct the situation. He informed them that the water entering the space was likely through holes in the failing foundation. Kole wanted to utilize our GeoLock Wall Anchors, CleanSpace system, WaterGuard drain, and our TripleSafe sump pump. He explained that other than the wall anchors, all three waterproofing systems work hand in hand to ensure that the basement stays dry. The Clean Space, a 100% waterproof tarp-like barrier, gets tact to the wall to direct water entering through the block wall, directing it down to the WaterGuard drain system. The WaterGuard, our elite below-ground French drain, works to direct the flow of water to our TripleSafe sump, our most reliable system that provides three levels of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. He finished by saying that our GeoLock anchors would complete the basement and address the foundation issue because it will permanently stabilize your foundation wall by anchoring your walls to the hard-packed virgin soil beyond your foundation. After installation, wall anchors can often be tightened over time to further straighten your foundation walls and pull them back to their original position. The homeowner agreed, and work began a few weeks later.

Our Foreman and his team made quick work of the installation. In the end, they installed 20 GeoLock anchors, 89 feet of WaterGuard, 1 TripleSafe sump, and another 89 feet of CleanSpace around the basement. Now our customer can enjoy their basement worry free!
