Tearing out that old insulation and that thin liner and replacing it with our encapsulation system has made a world of a difference for this crawlspace! Aesthetically, and protection-wise!

Years of moisture issues built up until this homeowner knew he needed to do something about it. He gave us a call looking for a permanent solution. His crawlspace was around 3ft high and had severe mold forming on the wooden joists. Henry Bennett performed the inspection and proposed a permanent solution that would last for the life of the home. The first image shows our crew's first look inside this crawlspace. There was a lot of work to do! After that old liner was pulled up and a clean-up was done, we were able to get our durable, Cleanspace Liner down. In the second image, you can see an image our crew took inside the finished crawlspace! 

This conventional foundation home had some soft and sagging spots throughout the floors. Previously, the homeowners had try to prevent this from getting worse by having a vapor barrier placed under their home, but as the floors got worse, it became clear that it wasn't gonna do the job. They reached out to us, desperate to find a solution that would actually save their floors. One of our system design specialists, Andrew, was sent out to the home to take a look and offer them just that, in the form of our encapsulation system. This system involves sealing off the crawl space and turning it into an environment that is constantly fighting back against moisture. In the picture you can see our CleanSpace Liner, crawl space dehumidifier, and our sump pump system. Each is working against ground water seepage, leaks, and humidity, making sure that moisture damage cannot come from any angle.

This homeowner's floor was damp and rolling because of moisture in the crawlspace. Our team was able to remove the wet insulation and encapsulate the crawlspace preventing further issues down the line. They had seven vents in the crawlspace that we closed off to keep the outside air from bringing moisture in. We also installed a SmartSump to keep the ground water from settling under the home.
