Driveway Repair in Springfield, MO
Joanne W. is a homeowner in Springfield, MO, and has dealt with a damaged driveway for years. Over time, it continued to worsen through the changes in seasons, so she decided it was finally time to have it professionally repaired. She wasn’t familiar with Thrasher, but she gave us a call and our System Design Specialist, Zak Kruse, visited the home to explain our process and concrete repair solutions. From there, Joanne was sure that Thrasher was the company to restore her cracked and sunken driveway.
Thrasher crews arrived at the home in Springfield, MO, and began installing our 2-part concrete protection system that consists of PolyLevel and NexusPro products. PolyLevel was installed first by injecting the concrete lifting foam underneath to permanently level and stabilize the sunken slabs. The crew then applied NexusPro sealer to all cracks and control joints to prevent any water from breaching the surface far into the future.
Joanne couldn’t have been more impressed with her Thrasher experience and our products' effect on her driveway. It was a problem that had bothered her for years, and we were fortunate to be the company to restore her peace of mind.
Extreme Concrete Porch Repair in Springfield, MO
Imagine walking out of your front door and seeing this! The wood supports that were under the front porch were rotted, leading to the concrete slab and fall, creating a huge safety hazard. Tia wanted to be able to use her front door again for her visitors.
She called Thrasher out after 3 other companies told her they could not help. Kyle met with her, assessed the issue, and came up with a solution for her. Kyle found that her home was not built as a traditional construction home. Her crawlspace extended beneath this part of the approach to the front door and was supported by wood. To help fix this issue, we installed steel 2x4s on either side of the broken section and raised them by using SmartJacks. We then sealed the crack with NexusPro.
The homeowner was thrilled we had a solution that would permanently fix this area. She was so excited to have her visitors use her front door again. Check out the before and after!

Flaking Concrete Protected in Springfield, MO
Saving money in the long run and preventing further damage was this homeowners reasoning for calling us. She had struggled with her driveway pitting and flaking for years, and she didn't want this problem to keep getting worse. After having checked on our review and checking our status with the Better Business Bureau, she knew that we would be a great fit for her home's needs.
Our System Design Specialist Nick Tiberghien arrived at her home to discuss her driveway problems and take a deeper look into what was causing the problems. Upon inspection, Nick found that there were a few different problems with the driveway. The first problem was that the pitting and flaking of the driveway was causing a look of deteriorating or falling apart, when in fact the concrete was still structured well. The next problem Nick discovered was that there was a portion of concrete that sunk a couple of inches due to water washing to soil out from underneath the concrete. This issue was difficult because it meant that the concrete would need to be lifted before it could be protected.
Nick discussed options to fix these problems which include lifting and sealing the surface of the concrete. The homeowner liked these solutions very much, so she scheduled an installation appointment for the next week. The installation crew that came out to her home got to work quickly by first lifting the sunken concrete slab using PolyLevel foam. After that, the crew power-washed the entire surface of the concrete to ensure that nothing would break the sealant they wanted to use. Finally, after the driveway was leveled and cleaned, the crew used SealantPro to seal the entire surface of the driveway to protect it from further pitting or flaking.
The homeowner was extremely happy with the results. She said that the driveway looks so much cleaner than when we started with her, and she was very thankful that her concrete was protected. Check out the huge concrete transformation!
