Stair Step Cracks in Foundation Wall Causing Concern, Lawrence, MA

A homeowner in Lawrence, Massachusetts had stairstep cracks in their foundation and were concerned with the foundation's structural integrity. The homeowner reached out to EFS for a free inspection and our design specialist recommended installing Geolocks to the foundation wall to stabilize the foundation wall. 

Sagging Floors, Lawrence, MA

The floors in this home were sagging and settling more and more over time. The owners had been using temporary supports to minimize the damage, but eventually needed a more permanent solution. Erickson Foundation Supportworks installed several Smart Jack posts to address the issue. The homeowner then had a carpenter come in to help renovate the lower level of them where the ceiling and floor were affected. 

Wall Bugling Significantly, Lawrence, MA

A homeowner that has only lived in their home for 6 months has found that one of the foundation walls in the basement is bulging and letting water in. They called EFS for a free inspection. The Design Specialist inspected and recommended installing an Auxiliary Wall.

Push Piers Installed on a 150-Year-Old Building, Boston, MA

The owner of a 150-year-old building in Boston, Massachusetts, had seen a building collapse in Miami and immediately thought of their building in Boston. They called EFS to have the structure of their building looked at. Our Design Specialist recommended installing Push Piers under the main brick column in the middle of the building. Our team installed Push Piers on 3 sides of the brick column to support it and the building. 

Replacing Old Basement Columns, Charlestown, MA

The basement area of this condo unit in Charlestown, MA had a number of old wooden columns supporting the floor above. Over the years, temporary adjustable jacks were also  installed to help with the sagging floors, but this was not a permanent solution. Our team installed 3 SmartJacks to replace the failing columns. The SmartJacks are engineered to withstand the weight of the entire structure above, and will prevent any further floors or beams from sagging.
