Janet’s workplace needed the sidewalk leveled so she called our team. We installed PolyLevel, a long-lasting and waterproof system that fixes concrete slabs by lifting them up to their original level. The process is quite simple and is done by drilling small holes into the concrete and then inserting a polyurethane foam into the holes. This foam expands and has a high density in order to lift the concrete slabs.

Scott's kitchen floor was starting to sag because his old rim josits were rotted. So our team installed SmartJack, a system produced to halt your sagging floors. Floors above crawl spaces are vulnerable due to the moisture and soils in your crawl space. The SmartJack system is a permanent fix to these issues and provides immediate stabilzation. It uses steel columns, threaded rods and a solid base to address any issues your crawl space may introduce to your floors. 

Denise was dealing with bowing foundation walls in her basement and she knew that she needed a professional opinion on possible solutions. She gave Ayers a call so she wouldn’t have to worry about the safety of her home anymore. We sent a crew for inspection and it was determined she would need our CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System and BrightWall. 

We first installed CarbonArmor which consists of fiber-reinforced polymer straps that are ten times stronger than steel. These straps get attached to the wall with a special epoxy resin and secured to the joists above with steel brackets. Soil pressure is typically the culprit when it comes to bowing foundation walls and with CarbonArmor, we can stabilize a wall and secure it against future bowing. The last product we installed was BrightWall which consists of waterproof, rigid, plastic paneling that will transform her basement space into a bright, gorgeous space that will last for decades. BrightWall even keeps water vapor and humidity from passing through foundation walls which will protect against gross mold development.

This homeowner called because she was experiencing a problem with her block foundation walls. When our team visited the home we found that her foundation walls did not go all the way up to the joices in the home and were essentially leaning. The leaning of a foundation wall is a sure sign of wall failure, which needed immediate attention before the problem worsened.

We decided to install the PowerBrace system that would fully support the basement walls. This system includes strong beams with a non-toxic zinc coating that protects them from corrosion. The braces use a “joist reinforcement method” that makes sure the weight of the wall is transferred evenly across the basement ceiling to ensure the beams do not interfere with the floors above. An added bonus to this system is that the braces can be tightened over time to eventually straighten the wall.
