Dean P. of Clear Lake, IA had water leaking into the corner of his basement due to heavy rains. It had been happening for quite some time so he decided to do something about it. He got in contact with our company and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Ryan Powell. Ryan went to his home, looked at the issue, and proposed our WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain and our CleanSpace Wall System. Dean was confident in Ryan's proposal so he scheduled a date for the installation. 

Our Foreman, Raul Barroso, and his production crew began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain which serves as a drainage system, collects water leaks from basement walls, and has easily accessible service ports when the time comes for annual maintenance. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System, which prevents mold and humidity, covers large holes and divots, and gives the basement a clean appearance. To complete the project, our team filled the open-floor gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them. Dean was very satisfied with the work that was done!

Following a heavy rainstorm, the homeowner went to their basement and discovered their carpet was wet. Worried this could cause lasting damage, the homeowners knew they needed to find a solution and fast. After comparing several companies, the homeowner's attention was caught by one, American Waterworks. The homeowner took a closer look at our waterproofing services and was impressed with our excellent ratings. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of Brady, one of our Design Specialists. Once Brady arrived at the home, he began his detailed walk-through of the home. Brady discovered that the sump pump was not working properly, leading to the saturation of the floor. After Brady wrapped up the estimate, he was able to provide the homeowner with a solution. The homeowner knew this was their best option, so they decided to go ahead with Brady's recommendations. Once he received the stamp of approval, the plans were sent to our Logistics team to build the project. Next, the built project was sent to our Foreman, Jeremiah, and his crew to begin the project. First, Jeremiah and his crew began by installing WaterGuard along the struggling wall. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew took the old sump pump out and replaced it with the TripleSafe. Finally, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. Once all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. Our production team installed WaterGuard along the north perimeter of her basement and a feed line that leads under the concrete, to the TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe sump pump is our most reliable sump pump. Water seeping into the basement is now guided through the WaterGuard and feed line, to the sump pump. From there, the water is pumped through the discharge line and expelled from the home.
