A homeowner in Jackson, MN, previously had work completed by American Waterworks. They knew it was time to schedule their annual maintenance appointment, so they called our Appointment Center to schedule theirs. Our Appointment Specialist scheduled their appointment, and sent one of our Service Technicians, Darin, to the home. Darin arrived at the home and began his maintenance investigation. After Darin checked on our previous work, he noticed that the homeowner's sump pump was run down and there were signs of water seepage. Darin notified the homeowner of his discovery and provided them with a recommended plan. Knowing we do excellent work, the homeowner agreed with Darin's suggestions. The plans were sent to our Foreman, Kiko, and his crew. Once Kiko and his crew arrived at the home, they began by installing the WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. The WaterGuard is an award-winning, patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. After the WaterGuard was secured, the crew took out the old sump pump and replaced it with the SuperSump+. The SuperSump+ is designed to keep basements dry and healthy for long periods of time. Once the old sump pump was removed, the crew could dig a feedline from the center of the basement to where the new sump pump will be placed. Next, the crew installed the SuperSump + and attached the IceGuard on the outside discharge lines. The crew completed the projects without any issues. A Sleepy Eye, MN, homeowner was struggling with a damp basement after heavy rainfall. Not wanting the issue to worsen, he decided to begin the search for a basement waterproofing company in Minnesota. Once he found our website, he decided to sign up for his FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Dylan W, headed out to the home. 

After Dylan arrived, he got right to work assessing the basement and trying to find the source of the leaking. Once Dylan completed his inspection, he met with the homeowner to give his recommendations. Dylan explained that the water was entering the home through cracks in the floor, and therefore, he wanted to address the situation with several of our products: WaterGuard, TripleSafe Sump Pump, and our AprilAire dehumidifier. Dylan elaborated, explaining that these products would work closely together to keep the basement dry. Any water entering the basement through the floor would immediately be caught by the WaterGuard, an award-winning below-floor drain that lays on top of the footing of the foundation to catch unwanted water, directing it to the appropriate disposal site, which would be the TripleSafe.
