Our PolyLevel expert drilled penny sized holes into the concrete slabs to inject the foam. Once the foam is injected it takes only 30 minutes to cure, so Richard was able to see the results almost immediately. Terry and Lori in Madelia, MN were aware of the age of their waterproofing system in their home. They were concerned that it needed some attention and that the basement walls might need a little help. We sent our Design Specialist, Dylan Woitas, to evaluate their home and propose a solution. They approved of the recommendation and moved forward with an installation date. 

Our production crew installed 108 feet of WaterGuard along the perimeter of his basement floor, which guides water to the sump pump. The sump pump then pumps the water from the home through the discharge line to the outside, keeping the basement dry. Then, the crew installed our BrightWall Rigid Basement Wall System. BrightWall is a waterproof, rigid plastic paneling for unfished basement walls. It keeps humidityand water vapor from passing through the foundation walls and into the basement. Any water seepage through the walls is directed into the drainage system, and it transforms the basement into a bright space!

A Young America, MN, homeowner was down in his basement one day when he noticed a large crack running the length of his basement wall. He was concerned since he hadn't noticed the crack a week before, thinking that the wall might be failing faster than he realized. He decided to find a foundation repair contractor in his area. Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Ryan P, was headed out to the home. When Ryan arrived he headed to the basement to get started. Upon completion, he met with the homeowner. Ryan began by saying that foundation walls are not designed to withstand pressure from the side, so when the pressure being put on the side of a wall exceeds what it can withstand, it's not uncommon for homeowners to see cracking, bowing, sliding in at the bottom, and/or tilting inward at the top. Ryan went on to say that our GeoLock wall anchors could reverse the issue, as this innovative system counteracts the pressure being put on the wall by anchoring the failing wall to the hard-packed, undisturbed soil beyond the foundation of the home. The homeowner liked the sound of Ryan's plan and scheduled the work on the spot. 

Several weeks later, our Foreman, Chris N, and his team were in the basement installing the system. In the end, they installed 16 GeoLock anchors throughout the basement. Now, our customer can rest easy knowing his foundation is secure!
