Egress Window Well Installed in Maplewood, MN

A homeowner in Maplewood, MN, had been thinking about installing an egress window for a while so that her family would have a means of escape in case of an emergency. She decided it was time to get started on the home project and began looking for services in the area. The homeowner found our website, and after browsing, was impressed with our 5-star reviews and decided to schedule her FREE estimate.
In a couple of weeks our Design Specialist, Brad W, arrived at the home to inspect the basement. The homeowner had informed Brad which window she would like the egress to be installed and Brad quickly worked on a design and solution for the homeowner. He explained that our RockWell window well duplicates the appearance of stone, providing a pleasing look both inside and outside of the home. Alongside this, our egress also has steps that can be used to easily leave the home and also allow more light to get into the basement. After the homeowner reviewed Brad's proposal, she decided to move forward with the project.

In about a month, our Foreman, Francisco E., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. They began by digging out the soil outside of the window to ensure there was enough space where the RockWell would be placed. Then, the original window is removed and replaced it with a larger window to ensure that it remains up to code. After this, the RockWell is placed down and attached to the foundation. Lastly, the crew installs the safety cover to keep leaves and debris out. Once they were done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Now, our customer can have peace of mind that her family has an escape route in case of any emergency. Are you experiencing something similar? Click HERE and schedule your FREE estimate today!

Leaking Basement in Shoreview, MN Waterproofed

A homeowner in Shoreview, MN, noticed multiple issues with his basement, such as weeping walls, standing water and efflorescence, a white residue caused by salt deposits left behind from evaporated water leaks. Worried those issues would lead to permanent damage to his home, he decided to search for "basement waterproofing near me" and found our website. After browsing our website, the homeowner was impressed with our 5-star reviews and decided to schedule his FREE estimate.

In a couple of weeks, our Design Specialist, Daniel R., arrived at the home to assess the basement. He informed the homeowner that one of the common causes of a damp basement is a failed footing drain. When this becomes clogged and fails, water saturates the soil surrounding the foundation. Water then enters through cracks in the wall, between the footing and the wall, or under the footing. During Daniel's inspection, he noticed that the current sump pump was out of date and kept it in mind when he designed a proposal for the homeowner. Daniel recommended our WaterGuard, a below-the-floor perimeter drain system that effectively collects water at the perimeter of the basement and sends it away, CleanSpace, a vapor wall barrier that stops water vapor from permeating the walls, IceGuard, our discharge line system that will not freeze unlike traditional discharge lines, and Zoeller M53 pump that is capable of removing 2,220 gallons of water per hour. After reviewing Daniel's proposal, the homeowner happily agreed to move forward with the project.

In about a month, our Field Supervisor, Cole B., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began by attaching 74ft of the CleanSpace vapor wall barrier to the basement walls using drilled-in fasteners. Then, the crew installed 74ft of WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement and ensured it was connected to the sump pump system. They also installed 1 IceGuard before replacing the pump with our Zoeller M53. After the crew was done with the installation, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Now, our customer can have peace of mind knowing his basement will remain dry all year long! Are you experiencing something similar? Click HERE and schedule your FREE estimate with one of our experts!

Sump Pump Saves Basement in Saint Paul, MN

A Saint Paul, MN, homeowner was facing a unique issue. Each time it rained, he could see water entering through a corner of his basement, creating a small puddle. The homeowner didn't want that small puddle to turn into a larger issue, so he decided to contact a reputable basement waterproofing company in MN. When he found our website, he signed up for his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our. Design Specialist, Derek V, headed out to the home.

When Derek arrived, he got right to work inspecting every inch of the basement. When he concluded, he met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendations. Derek explained that water problems commonly occur in the corner of the room and that the homeowner was right to call when he did. Derek wanted to use two of our products to address the water intrusion. First, he recommended our WaterGuard drain, explaining that it's the most effective way to stop basement flooding. The WaterGuard is a French drain that is designed to be installed below the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing. Because of its placement, the drain stays out of the "mud zone" where other drains tend to clog. It works to catch water entering through the floor, directing it to the appropriate disposal site, which Derek wanted to be our SuperSump plus. Our SuperSump sump pump is an effective and economical solution to combat water intrusion. It's engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods, even in times of heavy water intrusion. It boasts a powerful Zoeller 1/3 horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement. The homeowner liked the sound of the two products working together, and decided to schedule her project for some time later.

When the day of the project rolled around, our team, led by their Foreman, Victor S, effortlessly installed 100ft of WaterGuard, and 1 SumpSump sump pump in the basement. Now, our customer can enjoy the rain without worries that it will end up in his basement!
