Chuck went to Brian's home, carefully inspected his crawl space, and drew up a solution that would fulfill Brian's wants and needs as a homeowner. Our Foreman, Kiko Pena, and his crew started the installation by installing our CleanSpace Encapsulation Vapor Barrier, which prevents water vapor and humidity from passing through. Along with protection from mold and rot, a dry crawl space is inhospitable to termites, cockroaches, and other pests that need excess moisture to survive. A Church in Mason City, IA had battled with moisture and mold for year's in their dirt crawlspace. They contacted the experts at American Waterworks for a permanent solution, backed by a lifetime guarantee.  

A homeowner in Austin, MN called American Waterworks because she was getting water in the basement.  As the temperature was warming up and the snow was melting, water was pooling in the homeowner's basement. We got them set up for a free estimate to solve their water issue. Our design specialist came up with a personalized plan for the homeowner. The homeowner was confident in the resolution so they signed the proposal and got set up a date to start. 

On the day of the installation our crew arrived and began work. They started the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our crew installed our WaterGuard, which is an interior drainage system that prevents mud clogs and collects water leakage from basement walls. Next, our crew installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, which is designed to prevent water from seeping through the walls and save money on energy costs.  To finish up the project, our crew filled the open-floor gaps with river rock and applied a new layer of concrete over them, ensuring the space was neater and cleaner than they found it.
