Robert M. of Hanlontown, IA had water moisture problems in his crawl space, making him feel nervous about his home repair needs. After being referred by one of his peers, he called American Waterworks to schedule a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Reed Hudson. Reed went to his home to inspect his crawl space and come up with a solution. After an in-depth diagnosis, Robert felt comfortable with the proposal, so he went ahead with the project. 

Our Foreman, Geno Mclain, and his production team installed 200 feet of CleanSpace Encapsulation which is made to transform the crawl space into a dry, clean, and energy-efficient part of the home and removes all standing water sources. Next, they applied 55 feet of CleanSpace Wall System around the wall perimeter, which is made to prevent mold or humidity build-up. Robert was thrilled with the work and loved the neat and clean appearance! 

Kami F. in Welch, MN contacted American Waterworks because she was interested in insulating and encapsulating her crawl space. She knew the space was inefficient and that she could be saving money on her energy bill. We sent one of our Design Specialists to meet with Kami, evaluate the situation, and propose a unique solution for her home. 

Our Foreman, Kiko Pena, and his production crew installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the floor of the crawl space. Then, they installed our Foamax insulation panels along the walls. The combination of these products work together to make Kami’s crawl space a clean, dry, and energy efficient space. 

A homeowner in Cannon Falls, MN requested that American Waterworks check their crawlspace for the presence of Radon after reading up on the side effects of this toxic gas.

 After receiving the news that their test came back at 8.4 pCi/L, the Shepards decided it was best to encapsulate their crawlspace with a vapor barrier known as CleanSpace.

The CleanSpace barrier will block most of the movement of radon from the soil into the crawlspace and our radon mitigation system will reduce any of the remaining presence of the gas that is entering through cracks in the foundation, plumbing, etc.
