CarbonArmor Saves Struggling Foundation in Cottage Grove, MN

A homeowner in Cottage Grove, MN, noticed their foundation was beginning to push inward. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner began looking into "what are the signs of a bad foundation?". When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Chris, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. Chris and his crew secured 9 CarbonArmor strips along the struggling wall. Bowing Foundation Wall in Spring Valley, MN

Donald D. in Spring Valley, MN had a bowing foundation wall in his basement and decided it was time to have it looked at by a professional to try and prevent any further damage. Donald had worked with us before and had a good experience, so he trusted that we would be able solve his foundation problem. He met with our Design Specialist, Rick Weber, for a FREE estimate. Rick determined that the best solution would be to install 4 wall anchors to stabilize the wall. Donald agreed that was the best course of action, so he scheduled the installation. 

The installation took a day to complete and Donald was able to see the dramatic change in the stability of the wall once the anchors were tightened. Donald was glad that he chose to permanently protect his foundation from further deterioration instead of having to potentially replaced the entire foundation.

Cracked Bowing Garage Wall in Oronoco, MN

Shannon G. in Oronoco, MN had a large crack in the foundation wall on the back of his garage. He knew that he would be taking a large risk if he chose to wait to repair his foundation, because it could fail at any time, and become a much larger expense. He started researching foundation repair companies when he saw an advertisement for American Waterworks. He decided to call us for a FREE estimate, so we sent one of our Design Specialists, Rick Weber, to his home to inspect his foundation problem and find a solution. Rick talked him through his options and he developed a plan that was the most beneficial for him. After meeting with Rick and getting his questions and concerns addressed, Shannon felt that we were the best fit for him, so he scheduled a date for the installation.

Our crew installed 4 wall anchors from the outside of his garage into the soil underneath the concrete in the garage. They drilled long rods through the brick until they hit supportive soil. They removed the concrete in the garage where they would need to put on the plates for the anchors. They installed the plates on either end of the rod and tightened the anchors. Lastly, they replaced the concrete and cleaned up their work area. The anchors secure and stabilize the wall. They continue to straighten the walls and can be tightened over time as the wall gradually moves back into place. Our foundation repair systems are guaranteed for a lifetime, so Shannon can rest easy knowing he chose a permanent solution to protect the foundation of his home.

Wet Basement and Damaged Foundation in Oelwein, WI

Sunken Floor Beams in Wyoming, MN Home

Darrin K. in Wyoming, MN noticed that the moisture in his crawl space was damaging the beams that were supporting the floor. The beams had started rotting, which caused the floor to sag. He knew the problem was only going to get worse, so he started looking at repair options. Chad recommended having SmartJacks installed in the crawl space to support the beams.
