Knowing this was the best plan, the homeowner decided to go ahead with Jason's recommendations. Jason and the homeowner worked together to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Chris, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. Chris and his crew secured 9 CarbonArmor strips along the struggling wall. After all the CarbonArmor strips were secured, the crew cleaned up their matierals and left the home. The homeowner was grateful for the excellent work completed by the crew. The installation took a day to complete and Donald was able to see the dramatic change in the stability of the wall once the anchors were tightened. Shannon G. in Oronoco, MN had a large crack in the foundation wall on the back of his garage. He knew that he would be taking a large risk if he chose to wait to repair his foundation, because it could fail at any time, and become a much larger expense. He started researching foundation repair companies when he saw an advertisement for American Waterworks. Our crew installed 4 wall anchors from the outside of his garage into the soil underneath the concrete in the garage. They drilled long rods through the brick until they hit supportive soil. They removed the concrete in the garage where they would need to put on the plates for the anchors. They installed the plates on either end of the rod and tightened the anchors. Lastly, they replaced the concrete and cleaned up their work area. The anchors secure and stabilize the wall. They continue to straighten the walls and can be tightened over time as the wall gradually moves back into place.
