Cracked Foundation Wall in Hastings, MN Stabilized
A homeowner in Hastings, MN, noticed that his basement wall had begun bowing and showing cracks, indicating poor stabilization. Knowing the issue would only continue to worsen, the homeowner began searching for foundation repair in the area and found our website. After browsing our website and growing impressed with our before and after photos, the homeowner decided to contact us to schedule his FREE estimate.
In about a week, our Design Specialist, Mac C., arrived at the home to conduct a thorough inspection of the basement. Mac explained to the homeowner that one of the most common causes of foundation damage is hydrostatic pressure. Hydrostatic pressure is pressure exerted by a fluid. When it rains or floods, water saturates the soil surrounding the foundation. Water then puts tremendous pressure against the walls. To fix this issue, Mac recommended CarbonArmor, our wall reinforcing system that quickly and affordably reinforces and stabilizes foundation walls. The homeowner happily agreed to Mac's recommendation and decided to move forward with the project.
In a couple of weeks, our Foreman, Kiko P., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew installed a total of 16 CarbonArmor. Once they were done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
