Failing Wall Stabilized in Rochester, MN

A homeowner from Rochester, MN gave us a call when they noticed his crawl space wall was showing signs of failure. He was afraid that if the issue went unresolved, he would run the risk of compromising the structural integrity of the home. When he called, we set him up with our FREE estimate. Next, our Design Specialist, Dustin, headed out to the house to complete a thorough inspection of the issue. When he had finished his walkthrough, he recommended the homeowner use our C-Channel anchor system. He explained that this system provides a permanent solution for bowing, buckling, tilting, or inward-moving foundation walls that are demonstrating signs of extreme wall failure. He went on to say that this system works to immediately stabilize walls by pushing in at the bottom, as well as anchoring deep in the soil. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after.

Our Foreman, Jose C, and his crew ended up installing 10 of our C-Channels throughout the space. Now our customer no longer needs to worry about foundation issues!

Distribution Center Gets Stabilized in Redby, MN

Renae from Redby, MN got in contact with us when she began to notice that the distribution center she worked at was beginning to show signs of sinkage in particular places. She feared that if the issue was left unresolved, the building might become structurally compromised, or be more expensive to fix later down the road. When she called in, we set her up with our FREE estimate. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Ian, headed out to the property to complete his thorough no-obligation walkthrough. Once he completed his inspection, he recommended the use of our helical piers to correct the sinking portion of the building. He explained that because the portion being lifted was so small, the helical pier would be the best choice because of its ability to be pulled into the soil during installation, providing anchoring strength as the weight of the foundation is transferred to the pier. He went on to say that the helical pier is very versatile and typically used for lighter loads. Renae agreed and work began a few weeks later. Our Foreman, Cameron, and his crew worked diligently to install 4 of our helical piers around the troubled portion of the foundation. Once the job was completed, Renae was happy to know that she could resume business without worrying about her sinking foundation!

Once Brady arrived, he introduced himself to the homeowner and they showed him to the problematic wall. After looking closer, Brady noticed the wall was showing early signs of failure. To stop this failure from progressing, Brady recommended permanently stabilizing the wall. The homeowner did not want the wall failure to continue, so they agreed with Brady's recommendations. Next, Brady passed the plans along to the office to build the project, and then to our crew. Once the crew arrived, they began the project. First, the crew began by installing seven GeoLock Wall Anchors along the south basement wall. After the GeoLock anchors were secured, the crew shifted their focus to outside the home. The crew installed SilverGlo on the outside south foundation walls. Once all the products were properly secured, the crew could clean up their materials and leave the home. The homeowner was in awe of the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to repair its homeowner's struggling foundation walls.
