A homeowner in Hudson, WI contacted us after deciding to cleanup his crawlspace where his HVAC system was housed.  The crawlspace is now more energy efficient and free of any debris, allergens, and most importantly, moisture.  

Jon and Amy H. of Hudson, WI had water coming into their crawl space, causing them to worry about water damage and other crawl space problems. They went online and saw that we provide free estimates, so they called our office line and scheduled one with our Design Specialist, Chuck Haldeman. Chuck went to their home, crawled into their crawl space, and drew up some possible solutions for a few hours. After the inspection, Jon, Amy, and Chuck sat down and discussed which solution would work best. They decided on one of the solutions, signed Chuck's contract, and went ahead with the installation. 

Our Foreman, Jeromy Anderson, and his production team began the installation by taking everything out of the crawl space and ensuring the space was clear to begin the work. Next, our team installed our SuperSump Plus M53 Sump Pump in the crawl space, which is made to keep spaces dry and healthy for extended periods of time, especially in times of heavy water intrusion. Next, Jeromy and his crew installed our CleanSpace Encapsulation Moisture Barrier throughout the entire crawl space. The purpose of this moisture barrier is to keep the crawl space dry, protect the structure, and prevent mold and rot. The installation took a few days, but Jon and Amy had a wonderful experience and could not believe the transformation from start to finish!

Caitlin, a resident of Waldorf, MN, realized that her crawl space needed some attention. Crawl space insulation is important, as a number of comfort and energy problems are caused by inadequate or incorrect crawl space insulation. Our Foreman and his crew began the project by clearing debris and readying the spaces for installation. They then installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier to address water Issues. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof plastic barrier that gets installed right onto the problem walls and works to catch water entering the space through cracks and holes in the wall. This also reduces the home's chances of being exposed to radon. Next the team added our SmartDrain, which helps fully waterproof the crawl space. The crew also used spray foam to seal and waterproof the homeowner's crawl space. Our spray foam is designed to keep the heat inside and prevent cool air from coming in. Finally, our team added an Aprilaire dehumidifier, which creates healthy air and can reduce the number of viable viruses in the air to less than 1% in two days when set to 50% relative humidity. Now, Caitlin's crawlspace is protected, and we improved her peace of mind.
